At the heart of this technological revolution, women like Leyla Deliç shine through their audacity and vision. Her journey not only redefines innovation: it inspires an entire generation to break the glass ceiling and embrace technological careers.
An exceptional journey
Leyla Deliç, an engineer and digital transformation manager, has established herself as an emblematic figure in the field of automation and artificial intelligence. Currently Global Head of Value Realization at Aon, a world leader in business services for risk management and social coverage. Her expertise has allowed her to access prestigious positions within major global companies, from GE Healthcare to Aon. She has been able to leverage her skills by contributing to innovative projects, thus laying the foundations for this futuristic future that inspires us so much.

Leyla Delic evolved in an environment where technology and innovation were omnipresent. Her early passion for new technologies led her to specialize in engineering and information systems management, which allowed her to develop solid expertise in automation and intelligent systems. After pursuing her studies at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, she started a career marked by significant digital transformations in leading companies. Thanks to her leadership and expertise in artificial intelligence, Leyla Delic has led major projects aimed at modernizing industrial processes on a global scale.
Leyla Deliç has built an impressive career in digital transformation, integrating automation across various industries.

GE Healthcare: With 21 years of experience, Deliç has held leadership positions
in different companies in the field of digital and information technologies throughout her career. Before joining CCI (Coca-cola içecek),
she was Lean Leader (responsible for process optimization and waste reduction) and Director of Information Systems at GE Healthcare. Leyla Deliç played a key role in integrating home automation solutions to improve healthcare efficiency.
As CIO of Support Functions, she led projects focused on automating hospital management systems, thus optimizing communication and data management. Her technology expertise allowed for the modernization of infrastructures, contributing to more transparent and responsive processes, while promoting a better experience for patients.
Coca-cola içecek:
Under Delic’s leadership at Coca-Cola İçecek, ambitious digital transformation initiatives were carried out, particularly around the Internet of Things (IoT) and automation. Her role was to create the strategy and digital change to strengthen CCI’s (Coca-Cola İçecek) business model.

One of the flagship projects is the implementation of a “digital twin” for production lines,
in collaboration with AWS IoT SiteWise. This solution offers real-time monitoring of critical systems, including Clean-in-Place (CIP) processes, thus ensuring optimal hygiene and quality in beverage production. This technology not only allows for better responsiveness to maintenance needs but also real-time optimization of production performance. Furthermore, under her leadership, Coca-Cola İçecek also worked with UiPath to automate repetitive tasks. This collaboration has allowed for a reduction in delays and a notable improvement in productivity by freeing up internal teams for more strategic tasks, thus improving operational efficiency and customer satisfaction through a more agile and responsive production chain. These initiatives demonstrate Delic’s strategic vision, which combines AI, IoT (Internet of Things) and automation to evolve production sites towards smarter and more autonomous environments.
Givaudan: As the Global Head of Information Management and Technology at Givaudan, she participated in implementing cutting-edge digital solutions in the flavors and fragrances industry, strengthening their position as a technological leader.
Leyla Delic has been a key figure in “integrating” artificial intelligence into fragrance creation processes. “One of the major projects” she contributed to is the development of “tools allowing perfumers to” exploit data to formulate more sophisticated and personalized fragrances. Among these tools, Carto, launched by Givaudan, uses AI to create a map of olfactory values, thus optimizing the use of ingredients in the creation process.
Thanks to AI, these tools accelerate the creation process while enriching the creative potential of perfumery experts, notably through the integration of an instant sampling robot that facilitates the production of perfume trials.
Subsequently, Leyla played a significant role in the development of Givaudan’s

“Creatogether” project, an AI-assisted fragrance co-creation service, launched in collaboration with Alibaba’s Tmall Innovation Center (TMIC) in China. This project aims to allow customers to actively participate in the fragrance creation process. Using Givaudan’s Carto tool and TMIC’s market behavioral data, Creatogether offers an interactive experience where brands can design fragrances in a few steps, including creative research, olfactory exploration, and real-time digital sampling.
This model allows for rapid customization, with a validation process, launch strategy, and marketing, adapting to the expectations of the Chinese e-commerce market.
The diversity of these projects highlights how Leyla Delic has been able to harness the power of artificial intelligence not only to optimize productivity but also to stimulate innovation across various industries and multiple countries. By integrating automation at all levels, she proves that AI is a transformative technology, capable of redefining both industrial processes and consumer experiences.
An academic journey and significant impact
In 1997, Leyla Deliç obtained her degree in computer engineering (Master of Science in Computing Engineering) from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, one of the largest universities in Louisiana, where she acquired in-depth technical skills. She then completed her studies with an MBA (Master of Business Administration) at Sabancı University in Turkey, which allowed her to combine her technical training with an understanding of business strategies and management. This dual competency has been valuable throughout her career, enabling her to navigate effectively between the technical world and the business requirements of companies.

As a thought leader, she participates in conferences and interviews, sharing her experience and expertise to inspire future generations of technology leaders. Events such as the “Women in Tech Conference” and the “Digital Transformation Summit” have allowed her to discuss the importance of women’s representation in the technology sector and share practical advice for those aspiring to follow in her footsteps.
