On the occasion of International Women’s Rights Day, SciGi (Sciences for Girls) and Les Minis’ingés organized, this Saturday, March 8th, a scientific workshop at Joinville-le-Pont City Hall to introduce young people to science in a fun and interactive way under the theme “Once Upon a Woman”.
Through well-known fairy tales like Frozen or The Three Little Pigs, primary school students (24 girls and 2 boys) discovered scientific phenomena and carried out experiments by themselves.
The objectives, which were to awaken their curiosity, show them that science is all around us, and, above all, that it is accessible to everyone, were largely achieved based on the feedback received at the end of the workshop.
A big thank you to Joinville-le-Pont City Hall for trusting us again, to the volunteers and children for their enthusiasm and commitment. Let’s continue together to inspire the scientists of tomorrow!
