The History<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

Sciences for Girls, or SciGi (pronounced Sci-Gee), is an association born from the observation of the low proportion of women in scientific academic and professional environments.<\/p>

Its purpose is to inspire scientific vocations among young girls.<\/p>

To achieve this goal, SciGi offers both remote and in-person activities. It notably uses social networks, as well as its online Blog, to highlight testimonials from inspiring women scientists who are fulfilled in their work and those who have marked the History of Science but are not talked about enough. <\/p>

During in-person activities, the Association organizes exchanges between its mentors and young middle and high school girls who discover various scientific careers, some of which are little-known or misunderstood, related to Science, Engineering, and Technology.<\/p>

These activities take place during interventions in schools, at forums, or during meet-up events organized by the association and its partners.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

Our objective is to respond to a need for representation and information by creating a reference platform for young girls passionate about Science.<\/p>

We thus wish to show that Science is a field truly accessible to all, in order to encourage more women to engage in scientific environments.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t
